About Jessica Smith

I am a speech-language pathologist born and raised in the Wichita area. I am passionate about helping children and parents realize potential for communication! My professional background and work experience has provided me with a vast amount of experience and exposure to a variety of diagnosis.

I am a problem solver and client-centered in my approaches. Each child I see is different and adapting treatment methods for their specific interests is important for continued engagement and learning.

I use play-based approaches to communication with some behavior management. I believe that children and families benefit the most when the therapist can devote additional consultation and collaboration time with parents, caregivers, and other professionals that work with them.
